Terms of Service

Welcome to JRLayout ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using JRLayout.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Description of Service

JRLayout is a web-based event layout planning tool that allows users to create, save, and manage room layouts, inventory, and event designs. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with different plan tiers.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

A. Subscription Plans

JRLayout offers multiple subscription tiers (Free, Pro, etc.). Each plan has specific features and limitations as described on our Plans page.

B. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to your selected billing cycle (monthly or annual).

C. Billing and Renewals

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• You will be charged at the beginning of each billing period.
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

D. Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
• Upon cancellation, all access to the Service stops immediately. This includes saved layouts, inventory, and all other features.
• All subscriptions are non-refundable.
• We reserve the right to issue refunds at our sole discretion on a case-by-case basis.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limitations.

6. User Content and Data

A. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service (layouts, room designs, inventory data, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the Service to you.

B. Data Storage

Your data is stored using Firebase services. While we implement reasonable security measures, you are responsible for maintaining backups of critical data.

C. Data Deletion

If you delete your account, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by JRLayout and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JRLAYOUT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JRLayout from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which JRLayout operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
