How do I move items between rooms?
Layouts are room-specific. To "move" a setup, recreate the layout in the new room using the Layout Designer.
Search our extensive documentation for guides on room views, layouts, inventory, and more.
Follow these 6 essential steps to build a complete event layout.
Go to Admin to add rooms. Define dimensions and give them descriptive names. Each room acts as a container for its own room views and layout variations.
Add your tables, chairs, and equipment types. Define default shapes (Round/Rectangular) and sizes. This inventory is shared across all rooms.
In Room View, draw permanent fixtures like walls, doors, bars, and stages to create the static background.
Use the Layout Designer to place furniture. Drag & drop tables, auto-populate chairs, and arrange equipment.
Save unlimited variations for each room. The Saved Layouts library lets you edit, rename, or load them anytime.
Generate professional PDF reports directly from the browser. Prints include event details and a clean floor plan.
Add rooms to organize your layouts. Room names help you identify different spaces. Note: This app does not work to scale - layouts are visual representations only, not precise measurements. Deleting a room removes all associated layouts.
Create a catalog of available items. Set categories (Table, Chair, Equipment) and shapes (Round, Rectangular). The "Size" option (Small/Medium/Large) affects the visual scale on the canvas.
Your plan determines how many rooms you can manage (Free: 1, Basic: 5, Pro: 15). Saved layouts are automatically managed; if you downgrade, oldest layouts are removed first.
Choose a room from the dropdown to begin. This loads the canvas and unlocks the toolbar tools. You can start from scratch or edit an existing room view.
Use the "Add Wall" tool to define the perimeter. Drag ends to resize. Walls block placement of other items in auto-arrange modes.
Place Doors, Windows, Bars, Stages, and Stairs. These "Permanent Features" appear on every layout created for this room.
Click any object to reveal drag handles. Drag corners to resize. Use the rotation handle or right-click context menu to rotate 45°.
Toggle Grid and Snap buttons to align objects precisely. Grid lines help with spacing, and Snap locks objects to intersection points.
Click "Save Room View" to preserve your work. Room views are linked to the specific room and load automatically in the Layout Designer.
Pick a room to unlock the toolbar. Rooms with room views instantly load their walls and fixtures as a background layer.
Set the event name, guest count, and schedule. The "Teardown" time helps flag scheduling conflicts before you save.
Auto-populate the room based on guest count. Or use Manual Mode to place specific table quantities. Drag, rotate, and arrange tables freely.
Create wedding-style seating arrangements with rows of chairs. Configure number of people, seats per row, and optionally enable a center aisle with adjustable width. Chairs fill front-to-back, center-outward. Use the +/- buttons on the seating group to add or remove chairs after placement.
Click "Add Notes" to place text labels on your layout. Notes are useful for marking areas like "Dance Floor," "DJ Booth," or special instructions. Click a note to edit its text, drag to reposition, or delete it using the X button.
Click "Add Equipment" → "Custom" tab to add items not in your inventory (bounce houses, rental items, etc.). Choose circle or square shapes. Custom equipment can be resized and rotated after placement by clicking on them to reveal handles.
Use the top toolbar to Add Tables, Equipment, Notes, or Clear Layout. Quick actions allow for rapid design iteration.
Select a saved layout to load it. You can modify event details (Date, Time) in the sidebar and add new items using the toolbar.
Right-click any table or equipment to see options:
• Rotate 45° : Precise rotation.
• Duplicate : Instantly copy the item.
• Delete: Remove the item.
Hover over seating groups to see floating controls:
• + / -: Add or remove chairs dynamically.
• Rotate: Spin the whole group.
• Delete: Remove the group.
Items are constrained to the canvas. If you drag near an edge, the delete "X" button automatically jumps to a visible corner so you never lose control.
Click "Save Changes" to overwrite the current layout with your modifications. Use "Save As New" (in Layout Designer) if you want a separate copy.
Click "Print" or Ctrl+P. The system automatically hides all UI controls (delete buttons, menus, toolbars) for a clean, professional client-ready PDF.

Blueprint: The static shell of a room (walls, doors, bars). Create this once per room.
Layout: An event-specific arrangement of furniture (tables, chairs) placed *inside* a Blueprint. You can have many Layouts for one Blueprint.
Inventory: Your master catalog of available equipment.
Placed Items: The actual tables/chairs on a layout. Changing Inventory settings (like size) affects *new* items, not ones already placed.
Your data lives in the cloud (Firebase) but caches locally for speed. If you switch devices, ensure you are connected to the internet so changes can sync up.
Finalize Blueprints First: Finish your walls and doors before creating event layouts. Moving a wall later doesn't automatically shift tables in saved layouts.
Use the Table Generator with "Manual Mode" to instantly place a grid of tables, then delete the ones you don't need. This is faster than dragging them one by one.
If layouts aren't saving, check your internet connection. The app requires a connection to write to the database. Refresh the page if you see "Offline" errors.
For the best experience with the canvas design tools, use a modern desktop browser like Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. Mobile devices are supported for viewing but editing is easier on a larger screen.

Canvas boundaries prevent items from being lost. If you need more space, increase the Room dimensions in Admin.
Go to Admin > Inventory. Changing the default size/shape there applies to all new items placed.
Use the built-in Print button. It engages a special "print mode" that hides delete buttons ("X") and menus.
If you exceed the new room limit, you won't lose data immediately, but you cannot add new rooms until you are under the limit. Excess saved layouts are removed starting with the oldest.
Go to the login page and click "Reset password." Enter your email and check your inbox for a reset link.
After 7 days, you'll need to choose a paid plan to continue. Your rooms, layouts, and inventory are preserved—you just can't access them until you subscribe.

Ceremony seating creates rows of chairs for weddings or events. Set the number of guests, seats per row, and optionally add a center aisle. Chairs arrange automatically front-to-back.
